Why do I need UV blocking lenses?
Protection from UV Rays is essential. We all take care to put sun block on our face and body, but sometimes fail to give the correct protection to our eyes. UV is an invisible form of radiation and the damage to eyes can build up over time. There are 3 types of UV radiation:
Cycling

Adidas Evil Eye frames can be supplied with either an optical adapter or optical insert which has the advantage of allowing much higher prescriptions
Skiing and Snowboarding
We can supply an optical insert to fit your own favourite ski mask or supply a complete mask with an insert. Coupled with an Oakley prizm snow ski mask, this makes a fantastic combination.

Swimming
We can supply prescription goggles to most prescriptions. Even the highest prescriptions look very neat when glazed into a goggle.
Diving and Snorklling
We can supply prescription masks to most prescriptions.
Shooting - Clays and Rifle
We can supply spectacles for clay pigeon shooting with tinted lenses to enhance performance. One of the best ways to do this is with an optical insert so the tinted lens can be interchanged.
If you are a rifle or pistol shooter we suggest you try a frame at your local club and then bring it in to us and have your prescription fitted.
Snooker
Do you remember the snooker glasses worn by Dennis Taylor in 1985 when he won the snooker world championship? We can supply something similar. The sides of the frame are hinged to allow the front of the frame to be tilted so the eye looks through the lens at the optimum angle.
Squash
While getting hit with a cricket ball may fracture your skull, a squash ball fits eye sockets and causes maximum ocular damage.

Childrens Protective Sports Glasses
These have impact resistant polycarbonate lenses fitted for ultimate protection. The frames are tough and flexible and often have a special lens bevel to stop impacts from pushing the lens out.
